Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Yorik mobile application and related services provided by Albatrend LLC.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Yorik, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or related services.

2. Who we are

Yorik is provided by Albatrend LLC ("Albatrend," "we," "us," or "our"). These terms apply to the Yorik mobile application, our website, and related support or connected services.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating or using an account and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless caused by our failure to protect it.

If you use a shared device or shared lists, you are responsible for managing who has access to your content and account.

4. License to use Yorik

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Yorik for your personal or internal household use.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit Yorik except as allowed by applicable law or with our written permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Yorik. For example, you must not:

  • Use the service in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
  • Interfere with the operation, security, or reliability of the app.
  • Upload or share harmful, fraudulent, or infringing content through the service.
  • Use automated means to abuse or overload the service.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the list content and other materials you create or submit in Yorik. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, sync, display, and transmit that content to operate the service.

You are responsible for the content you create, share, or manage in Yorik and for making sure you have the right to use and share it.

7. Shared features

Yorik may allow you to share lists and collaborate with other users. When you share content, other authorized users may be able to view, edit, copy, or remove that content depending on the feature design.

We are not responsible for how other invited users handle content you choose to share with them.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Yorik or any feature at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Note: Features may change over time as Yorik evolves, including how syncing, sharing, login, and other product functions operate.

9. Intellectual property

Yorik, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and other content we provide, is owned by Albatrend and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Yorik if you violate these terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users, or if we are required to do so for legal or security reasons.

You may stop using Yorik at any time. Termination will not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

11. Disclaimers

Yorik is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Albatrend and its service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of Yorik.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to Yorik will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose or $25 USD.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date above and provide additional notice where appropriate.
